About Me

Two old televisions painted with the phrase "Apaga La Tele Vive Tu Vida" (Turn off the TV, Live your life)

dum vivimus vivamus

(while we live, let us live)

Hi. I am Anne. I’m a traveler, cyclist, photographer, software developer, gardener, beekeeper, chicken keeper, & language enthusiast. In my 20s I traveled a lot for work and took two self-supported bicycle tours in Latin America for fun. I traveled to my seventh continent at 38, had a total hip replacement after a bike crash at 47 and was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer at 49. Here you can find a few photos from my travels and some blog posts about my life with cancer.
